Doe, A Deer...

I'm home with my two little girls. We've been coloring in a Strawberry Shortcake coloring book that I bought for Abi this morning - one part of my renewed effort to keep her little super busy body busy. Anyway, we've had a nice morning. After lunch, we saw two deer walking in the back yard right past us. "Abi, look!" And she and Lily looked out the window... "Bambi! Two Bambis!" she squeeled. She hurried and opened the door to go talk with them before I could get my camera and was confused at why they hurried away. I told her they are afraid of people. "They are afraid of kids?" They are bigger than you, but they are afraid. I guess kinda like how you kids are afriad of and spiders. It was a young buck and a doe. Pretty fun. I love where we live.

...And They're Off!

8:20 a.m.

Bus doesn't come for another 20 minutes, but they're all ready and anxious, so might as well take advantage of that enthusiasm while it's her- take off, have fun on your first day!

Wesley starts tomorrow, but gets to go meet his teacher today around 2:00. The start of school is always fun. Abi is feeling left out again, just like in Chile. Gonna have to think of something to make home more fun for her since I never got around to registering her for a preschool... we'll come up with a little school schedule I think and other projects to do to keep her busy. And Lily is getting a little older, she's starting to know how to "play" a little. :)

Cheezy Lily

I've been working on Lily's ABC Book this month, which required going back and finding where all the digital photos from 2009 and 2010 were - used to be on my computer until Corey gave it to someone in Costa Rica. I was able to locate them on Corey's portable hard drive. It was fun to go look through all the pictures from Costa Rica and Chile. I'm really glad we did that. I'm glad we're back in the states now, but that was a great experience and I'd definitely be up to doing it again if we feel so impressed. It took a good two hours to look through all the pictures and I was all nostalgic. It seems to me that all the good things are remembered more than the hard things with the passing of time. So after cropping and uploading them to Costco for printing, I've got 130+ prints now that I've narrowed down to almost the 26 I need for the ABCs. G is still up for grabs, not sure if I want to do "girl" or "grin", cause I've got lots of Lily with a cheezy grin, but there are still a few photos that I really like that don't fit anywhere else, so I might just use girl. We'll see. Here are some of her cheezy grin pictures from Costa Rica, inspired by my sister's little girl Sophie.

Cheezy one year olds are the cutest!

I'm going to be 36 weeks along tomorrow. My doc said that once I'm 37 weeks I can schedule to be induced, which I feel is kinda like cheating but I'd done it before and it helps my sanity to have a light at the end of the tunnel, so most likely I'm going to do that again. So I think we're in the home stretch! Energy is low and I'm ready to be done as usual. I was induced with Hyrum at 38 weeks and he was 8.10 and I was sure my next baby was going to be huge too, but Wes came two days past his due date and was in the 7s. I did Abi all natural, she came on her due date and was 8.1. I was also induced at 38 with Lily and she was 5.13. I remember when I saw her I was totally worried cause she was so small, felt like I'd messed up by taking her out of the oven early, but everything was fine, she's just small. Little Lily. I feel like this baby will be small too cause I usually go with the most recent delivery memory. I've gained 40 pounds which I didn't want to do, but I know I will loose it. I've been exercising atleast 5 times a week, and although it hasn't helped with the weight, I have felt great and haven't had achy hips and joints, so that's good. Tired of my arms going numb when I lay down, getting excited to have my body start feeling normal again and to be able to tie my shoes. :) And very excited to meet this little baby.
