Snowed In

Woke up this morning to this:
and this:

Hmm, which secret garden to tend?
"Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present - love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure - the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth." - Sarah Ban Breathnach

I'll try to focus on the former, although I know I'll have to deal with the latter eventually.  The kids played in the snow all day yesterday, and I was feeling lazy too, so we all just let the chores pile up with the snow.

It kept snowing all night, so now it looks like there's about 2 feet.  Corey couldn't get his car up the drive way last night at 3 a.m. (he pulled a long night).  If we were still awake we would have come to help him get in the garage cause I had to take the kids to a choir practice at 9 but we didn't get out of the driveway.  Actually we did, we shoveled around his car, brushed the snow off the windows, and reversed it out of the driveway, only to then be stuck there in the street.
I told the kids to go push and we were able to get it back on the sidewalk kinda, we'll try to move it in to a safer location before the snow plows come by.  So, looks like no choir today, Eth's probably going to miss his first basketball practice too, cause I do believe we're snowed in!
The kids are thinking it's pretty fun, just as fun as when the power was out for an hour last night.

"Not what we have but what we enjoy, constitutes our abundance." - Epricurus
