Sunday Puppet Show

Look at how cute Peter is drawing his primary picture from today!

I love love how he holds his marker, I love his concentration, I love his smile and his laugh, I love his little face, he is the cutest!
Peter in his stink bug pose today when he put himself down for a nap on the side room ottoman.
There was a mess of papers and chaos around him, because his sisters had been working on a project.
Natalie was just drawing her usual papers. Lily and Sophi took it up a notch today and put together a stage for a paper puppet show.

They called us all in for the debut performance of "The Three Little Pigs"

They had made paper characters, they used tape to transfer the props and backdrops for the different scenes, and they couldn't find skinny sticks, so they used spaghetti noodles to hold up their puppets.

You can see the whole Puppet show here for yourself. It was a kid masterpiece.

At the end of the performance, Lily and Sophi came out for a bow.

Owen wanted a turn. His sisters let him do the play. His version was shorter and less coherent, but it was cute.

It was fun, and it made me feel like singing "We are a Happy Family". Sundays are a delight.
