Regular Winter Days

Hello hello. I went to the Jordan River Temple for 5am initiatories this morning. In the Celestial room I opened the scriptures to Proverbs 12:13 "the just shall come out of trouble", hallelujah. Then 6:00 climbing at the Sandy Momentum, because my palms were not tender at all from climbing yesterday. I did 28 routes. 6 V3 attempts, 2 V2 attempts, 5 V2 Sends, 10 V1 sends, 5 V0 sends, and my hands were tender after that! Good stuff. I got home at 7 to say bye to girls. Abi took carpool, she and Lily were late for school, Sophi stayed home, cause her feet hurt from the ballroom practice yesterday and she had PE today and didn't want to go, her feet needed to recover. I'm a pushover. Peter was also up a lot last night, moaning and crying, I was like "WHAT IS WRONG?!?! Do you need to go to the bathroom? Are you having bad dreams? WHAT??" He said his toe was really hurting. Well, I don't know what I can do for that. I slept by him for a bit, but then around 2:30am I left and went to the couch downstairs where I hopefully couldn't hear him. Cute Peter and Tiny asleep on our floor yesterday morning before his bad night of toe aches.

Last night I was woken up every hour on the half hour except for 3:30. I haven't had a bad night like that for months! So even though last night was crummy, it is nice that a full nights sleep is the norm for me now instead of the exception!

So just another regular day today. I had a RS Meeting at 9, Corey went to the Home Depot to pick up a garbage disposal.10:30, Katharine's friend Becca came over to play during a RS temple trip. Last night I also finally called someone (Stott Plumbing) to get the disposal fixed, they came today. Corey had picked up the disposal that I told him, but when the plumber came at 1, they told me I had the wrong kind. We needed one with a power cord kit, ugh, so they said to just call them back after I have the right one. I checked Lowe's and Home Depot, and unfortunately they don't have it in the store - it's a special order, so the soonest we could get it is by Friday. They said just to give them a call and they'll come back Monday, so looks like the sink experiment on gratitude is going to last a little bit longer.

Today was a beautiful sunny day, but cold. I went on a ride yesterday and was hoping to go again after the girls got home, but I thought Corey would be sad if I did, cause he has to work and it's not fair for me to just keep going without him. So I stayed, and went on a walk after I delivered a b-day gift to a friend down the street. He and I went and did top rope yesterday at 6:20am. We just did 5 and started with our hardest for us with a 5.10b, then a 5.9 and 5.8 (going easy to build up our grip and finger muscles as we start getting back into climbing) then a 5.10a and black 5.9. It was good. It was just a regular day around the house. Sophi and Natalie didn't have violin yesterday, so at 3:15 I went on a ride up the canyon. I'm loving biking in the snow. I was still able to make it to the ruins.

Just having fun riding my bike around the 'hood in my red riding hood. It snowed a little bit Sunday night, and from the tracks in the snow, it looks like only one other person has ridden up the trail yesterday.
It's like my own private winter wonderland. Last night Natalie did up Katharine all fancy with makeup, a fancy hairdo, and a shimmering gown.
Katharine! You are so beautiful!!!
She knows it's true.
Today I've been doing a few things at the computer (Corey wants me to get some quotes for new car insurance), I tried to clean a bit, with kids playing while I try to encourage them to do chores, music and homework. Abi had a flute lesson today so she had my car. Corey took Eliza's car to go to Provo to see Mel in a concert. Father David is in town and he came to it at Corey's invitation.

He said we are lucky to live in a bubble here in Utah. He always says how impressed he is with the people in Utah and the students at BYU.

Doh, there was a cookie exchange tonight. I remembered it right when it was set to start at 7pm, as I was getting out of the tub with K. I also didn't have any cookies to bring to exchange, so I didn't go, felt sorry to not support but I was glad to not have cookies around the house. On my walk, I started to relisten to the "Diary of a CEO" episode with cancer expert Dr. Thomas Seyfried. I don't want to feed my cancer cells.
