How Lily Goes Down for Her Nap

(love her little toes pointed inward)

Step 1: Let her collapse wherever she is once she is tired enough to collapse.

Looks like this day it was the floor by the front door.

Another day, another nap time. This day it was on the breakfast bench.

...Got a little piece of bread stuck to her lips

And another day at McDonald's:

Putting her in her carseat probably works better than just letting her collapse. She's usually out in 3 minutes if it's anytime after 12:00. Here she fell asleep in the car on the short drive to McDonald's last week. Slept through the transfer inside too and continued her nap on Corey's lap. Sweet dreams little girl~

  1. I'm still amazed after all these years that each of your kids can just about fall asleep anywhere and in the strangest positions. Everyone of my kids have to either be in their car seat or bed. It can make it hard at times. My kids will play and play and never fall asleep unless we put them in their bed. I've wanted to experiment and see how long they would stay up and if they even would crash on the floor. They made it to 1 am at the Smarts on New Years.

  2. They lasted till 1 a.m.? wow, they are serious about where they sleep ~ I think my kids need some standards like that! Lily is the opposite - she seems to prefer the hard floor - and if we try to pick her up and put her in her crib or on a bed, she wakes up screaming at us, so we just don't touch her - she's a ticking time bomb
