Given my 2am bedtime last night/this morning, I'm not surprised that I didn't hear my 5:30 am alarm today. I did hear the 6am one to wake up Abi and Lily, so I did that, then went to read my scriptures and had a GREAT time digging in in 1 Nephi 21 the whole time. Then carpool, Sophi stayed home sick, so that's always a bummer to take carpool when none of my kids are in it, but it's all right. Abi texted that she forgot her flute, so I had to take an extra trip back out there to take that out before her lesson today, but worked out ok, cause I was also picking up Lily, who texted that she felt ill, and I picked up some bridal shower invites that Corey printed at his dad's house. Good thing to be able to get a few things checked off. Now, since Peter got his immunization shots yesterday, I was able to finish registering him for kindergarten. Now I'm working on the 2023 RS history that I need to submit to our ward historian. Busy, busy, dreadfully busy. I should clean the house and make my bed. Haven't showered yet... I think I'll go for a bike ride though. It's 49 degrees right now! Looks nice, it's 2pm, Peter and Katharine are upstairs watching Peter Pan with Lily and Sophi. Might be a good chance to sneak away... first let me look at my alarms to see if there's anything I need to do in the next 2 hours...
Well, I'm back from a bike ride! It was 49 degrees and the sun was shining, and I had two babysitters at home (home sick) so I went for a quick ride. 1 hour 6 min, 9.51 miles, took the road up LCC. Road is a bit boring and I was a little nervous of cars coming up behind me, but it was ok. I decided to stop at the 3rd bridge cause my sit bones couldn't take it anymore. I didn't have a padded seat nor my padded shorts, and haven't given my seat any conditioning since Nov. Well, no pictures for today, just checking in with myself and my posterity (hello posterity!)
