Natalie and I spent most of our time together, but the kids helped watch her too. She is just the most beautiful thing ever.
She spent time on New Year's Eve perfecting her raspberries and sucking on her lower lip.
The kids had lots of fun playing games - Risk...
laughing on the couch - we feel so blessed to have such good friends for us and for our kids too.
watching movies....
Wesley thought he'd hit the jackpot with this metallic paper - it's just going to make the BEST MAZE EVER!
And so we watched Studio C on BYU tv until it we had 3 minutes until New Year time.
Followed by silly statements like "Natalie! This is the first time I've seen you ALL YEAR!!" and "I haven't gone to the bathroom at ALL this year!" 2014! 14 is my lucky number, you know. Well, used to be my number for soccer atleast. This is gonna be my best year yet!
The kids partied by running out into the snow barefoot. Joseph was all ready to be the first to run out and get the Polar Bear Award tradition started. Corey was encouraging him and waiting at the glass door to open it when Joseph was ready. Joseph thought it was already open and ran straight into it. Then collapsed on the door in fetal position, mostly from a bruised ego. We were all dying and Joseph laughed too, good sport.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
