Park City Party

Mel and Abi got home from girls camp today, and then they and I and Peter and Daniel headed up to Park City. The plan was to spend the day and then come back home to sleep, and to give Iveth and her kids a ride home tonight too since Diego would be leaving after lunch to go to work. When we got to Park City he had already left. Everyone was having lunch and watching Sponge Bob. This is a typical Park City photo.

We sometimes jokingly call Park City "TV week" - joking/not joking. I had to come up to bring up Natalie's cake and ice cream, cause in their hurry to leave last night, they forgot the cake and ice cream. Some of the kids were off exploring, but we were in the very last room at the end of the loooong hallway, and none of us wanted to go find people and bring them back, so we just sang with the crew that we had on hand. Happy birthday to Natalie...

We had limited dishes, so it worked out okay to give these kids cake and ice cream, and then be able to wash the dishes before the next kids came and wanted some. Birthday Girl Princess Natalie (note the crown) got to enjoy her ice cream and cake in the spa throne, where she was pampered by her older sisters.

Iveth got Natalie some fingernail polish and silver tatoo stickers. So today we went out to swim around 2, then back to the room for food, I took a little nap with Peter, and we went to the "Glow Party" in the Mine. Owen was quite the dancer there - Iveth sent me a video, I'll try to upload later. Owen was great at the glow party and then something switched and he was terrible. I think he was exhausted. He said he wanted to go swimming, so we decided to let the kids do one last swim at 9, but then Owen didn't want to swim, so Corey held him by the gate where he freaked out for an hour, and then he fell asleep. We left around 10 pm. He woke up and cried as we put him in the car cause he wanted Corey. He fell asleep on the drive home, woke up and cried for a sec after I got him into the house. Then I went to go pick up Hyrum, Sophi, and Natalie at Corey's parents house. Ethan's friend Ella was bringing them down cause Hyrum has Drivers ed tomorrow morning, but I wasn't able to bring him home cause my car was full. Now it's 12:30 am. Busy day, but it was good. Glad to be home, Hyrum said he'll go to the 10am drivers class instead of the 7am one, so I get to sleep in, yay. Goodnight.
