Corey and I did 8 top rope at the Ft. Union momentum, and on the way back we stopped by Burt Brothers to (drumroll...) pick up Corey's car! They called yesterday saying that it was done. After 11 weeks at Tanners (never go there) and a week at Burt Bros (and $1400 more in repairs from stuff that Tanners broke... Corey's been in touch with them to pay for that), it seems to be working. Corey said it kinda slips and jerks like the van does, but we'll tolerate that if it seems to work otherwise. So phew, glad that is over and fingers crossed that time proves that it really is over for a while.
Pretty impressive activity for an 11 year old to do during free time on a Saturday morning. I didn't go to the temple this past Tuesday morning, and didn't get there any other day this week, so tonight I had to do it, and went to an 5pm session. While I was gone, Corey coped by taking Owen and Katharine to McDonalds.
Which is kinda why I usually go at 5 am on Tuesday mornings. That's a time when I know that I won't be imposing on Corey and that the kids most likely will not need or miss me. Katharine enjoying her ketchup.
So amazing that she was able to find it! This is so fun. I didn't try it on yet. When I do I wonder if I'll get flashbacks or déjà vu. Corey is speaking in sacrament meeting tomorrow. He's already written it out. He is the new Elder's Quorum President in our ward, and he and his new presidency are speaking. Should be good. He always gives great Sunday school lessons and testimony, I enjoy hearing him teach our kids every night too. We live with a great student of the gospel and are blessed by his thoughts and insights everyday. K, signing off.
