The Universe

I just finished reading a book that I picked up at church called "The Kolob Theorem" by Lynn M. Hilton. It was a quick read, but has caused me much to ponder. But the more I ponder, the more I know that I just can't comprehend it. The book is available online here: http://www.hiltonbooks.com/The_Kolob_Theorem.pdf

First Annual Hibbert Halloween Party!

gone in India. He was even nice enough to put on the
Darth Vader costume for the kids (it's quite the
process putting it on, plus the leather body suit
gets very very hot and sweaty). Thanks Grant!
P.S. Nice sneakers, Darth!

well, I guess he's a barefoot pajama-wearing
"Superman-Power Ranger" playing badminton?

Yorktown, Virginia
Last week I finished reading Victory at Yorktown: The Campaign That Won The Revolution by Richard M. Ketchum. It was a very good read, a historical narrative that I recommend to any history enthusiast (...or aspiring history buff like myself). Last year on 21 October 2006, when we were living in Virginia, we were able to go to Yorktown on the 225th anniversary celebration of the siege where Cornwallis surrendered in October 1781. Here are some pictures of our visit there last year:
American Patriots who fought for the Glorious Cause.
They all said "God Save the King" instead of "cheese" when I took the picture.
