Crystal Cove & Laguna Beach

My day started at 6am again with another 90 min walk around the beach. Lovely and therapeutic, yay, go me.

After I got back, I wanted to take the kids there, so Owen Daniel Peter and Katharine got ready and we took the shuttle to Crystal Cove. 

(I'm blogging this in October, and I don't remember what Corey and the other kids were doing. Maybe they went sailing? Or Corey might have been working and they went swimming? I don't remember.) But the little ones and I had fun at the cove.

Then took the shuttle back - it looked like the trolley from Mr. Rogers neighborhood.

Then we all loaded up in another shuttle and took that to Laguna Beach. I remembered a hair tie for Katharine.

I followed K around the sand and stones and Corey got an epic waterballoon fight going with all the older kids. They also tried flying a kite but never got it going very well. Oscar and Jules dug with Katharine.

And it was nice.

Then time to head back to the hotel.
