Easter FHE

Yesterday we did some Easter stuff for FHE. I took Katharine to Hobby Lobby and Walmart and we got some crafts and goodies. I bought and we decorated porcelain eggs with markers.
Ok, I know bunnies don't help us remember Jesus necessarily, but we're gonna place this bunny egg  next to a little wood quote I got that said "Remember somebunny loves you!" (and that's Jesus!) These two were my favorites of the decor items I got:
I prob got too many things, but it's ok because this is THE MOST IMPORTANT holiday. We need to celebrate it, and some of these visuals help us remember the reason for the season. The kids decorated the ceramic eggs with the same markers that they used to color this big Easter poster that I think was a gift from the Primary? Maybe it was from one of the teachers, I don't know. The kids finished that Sunday night.
It kept them mostly still and listening as we read scriptures to them Sunday night.
For FHE we did the same thing that we did for Valentine's Day, as in we took care of an upcoming thing during FHE time. Made Valentine's cards for FHE, this time we stuffed Easter Eggs.
The neighborhood Easter egg hunt is on Friday after school. Big kids chilling on the couch with Katharine before we started stuffing eggs yesterday.
Tonight after Abi got home from flute lesson, I took her to frontrunner for the train so she could go to Provo to sleep over with Ethan and Bella
I think it's been really great that Ethan and Bella have been trying to have the kids down for one on one time with each of them. I'm very grateful that the kids all have each other, and I am the one mostly responsible for that! So good job me, and to my kids, you're welcome!

Today I was going to do a bike ride at Dimple Dell with Katharine in shotgun, but I was taking too long getting ready and getting her change of clothes and shoes. When I got back, she had put herself down for a nap in the basement.

I had wondered why she was begin so quiet/patient. Mystery solved. It is a bit chilly down there, so I got her a blanket.
So she gave up on me, so I went after the kids got home. It's been a good day today - I went to the temple at 5am, then bouldering in Sandy at 6, then the morning school rush, RS meeting, then I read Shakleton's Stowaway. I'm really enjoying it. Ride at 2:44, I was able to do Techy kinda. I love being in the mountains. It's good to be back home after out trip to California, and a bonus that we get to come back to spring weather! Corey took a ride up Millcreek canyon yesterday and I went on a ride up to the ruins yesterday and again today.
There is still a bit of snow, but I don't mind hiking. And I went two days in a row mostly to see how fast the snow is melting and if I can ride further without getting off.
