Publish Peace

So I've been working on gratitude this year and I wrote down 5 things I was grateful for everyday for January. So far so good! I shall keep it up.

I started a Marvin J Ashton book "Be of Good Cheer" today. I only got through the first chapter, but wow, sounds like he's talking about the world in 2026 and has seen protests in Minnesota and Iran and the war in Ukraine. But nope, this was written in idyllic 1987! I guess we humans keep having the same problems no matter what decade we are living in.

We had our fast and Testimony meeting today, and I had some thoughts after Sunday School about Enoch and Moses chapter 6 and how God wants me to help despite my weaknesses, and how Enoch went about publishing peace. One cool thing about blogging, is that I literally click a button that says "Publish" everytime I post. I am publishing my thoughts, memories, and a small family history, and I will try to also publish peach and good tidings of great joy about Christ. His way is the path that leads to happiness! Most of my happiness comes from suffering the little children to come unto me and my life. I'm very grateful for each one of our children. They bring me joy! If anyone reading this could take anything away from my blog, I'd hope it would be to follow the example of the Savior by suffering children to come unto you in your life. So there's my "peace" for today. :)

The kids were around the table coloring today, and that was cute to see them all working so hard. Abi has been printing up coloring pages for them, and then they color them.

Owen worked on legos, the first kid to do that in a while since we moved them downstairs. He's been working on a train engine that Wesley had shipped from Texas while he was still on his mission. Wesley's plan was to make it and sell it, but now that he's home, he just gave it to the boys. Owen did book 1 on Friday and played witht he first engine on Friday night.

And today he finished the second book

Good job Owen! I'm glad he's playing legos. We need to find a better lego space for the boys I think. I'll put that on my list of to-dos.
