Soccer games this morning, so no early ride or hike today. Owen's game was at 9. His games are really fun to watch. Peter's game was at 10:15. I took Owen and Corey took Peter. After Owen's game was done, he wanted to go support Peter, so we swung by on our way home. Corey had brought Katharine, and K and her friend Becca, who has a brother on Peter's team, were running around and playing. I watched them while Corey and Owen cheered Peter on. Katharine and Becca had a little bit of drama, cause Becca kept running away from her, so she sat down in the shade and cried.
Kinda cute kid drama. That happened several time - Becca would run away, K would cry, Becca would come back, all is forgiven, Becca would run away (just going to her mom), K would cry, repeat.Kids are so cute. On the way to Peter's game, with Katharine in the car, Corey said to her in the back "I love you" and K replied "I love you most!" and then after a brief pause, told him "That's what Rapunzel's bad guy mom says." I asked her about that later, and she told me that I'm her good guy mom. Awww! Thanks Katharine.
This evening, I had been given some tickets to the Utah Royal soccer game, but we ended up not using them, cause the kids (Owen) wanted to watch the BYU football game. So they went over to Wayne's and watched that instead. Ethan and Alvie watching the game.
BYU vs. Arizona, BYU won 33-27. Since I shared a pic of Joseph and Mary yesterday, here's one of Ethan that Bella sent today of Ethan this morning, "holding his own hand" as he slept, haha
While Corey and the kids were gone watching the game, I was able to go on a walk in the rain to Dimple Dell and back. 2.36 miles, 39:30 min. This was my 800th activity! I'm glad I'm keeping my physical goals (exercise) and my mental health goals (to get outside) and I've also got a goal to go to the temple every week. I hadn't gone yet today, so I had to get that in. Jordan River is still closed, so I went to the 8pm temple session at the Taylorsville Temple, it was very pretty! My first time going there. It's good having goals!
