I took the high school girls to school this morning. Sometimes I don’t know why we don’t just have the kids go to Brighton. I guess either way it’s about a 10-15 minute drive, but at Brighton they could take the bus. I vented those thougths to Corey, and he said maybe we do it for his dad. I agree that that has been a good thing for them to be closer to him. I shall grin and bear it. This is what a typical morning getting the boys off to school looks like -
Three boys and our messy kitchen. They are eating bananas, frozen blueberries, and chocolate protein powder for breakfast.
Took K to the store for ice cream ~
and I got myself some sushi, then I pushed her around in the car cart while I grabbed a few things - apples and bananas and etc.
I went down to Lindon to pick up our bikes at Ari bikes, and sadly Corey's bike was done but mine is not. So we get to drive down here again. I went by Warehouse B, a place that Corey discovered and seems quite excited about. I had the disadvantage of going with Katharine, which is a disadvantage because, when shopping, it puts some extra pressure on to get stuff. She was ready for a new set of wheels. Mother, will you be buying me a convertible?or a jeep?
Sorry sweetie, we are not getting either. I decided to leave and thankfully got out without having to buy a new car. Owen had trumpet today, and then this evening I went to the church for a nice gathering with ladies in our ward. There was dinner, music and an art presentation by our friend Amy. She loves art history.
It was nice to pause and have a break. It was a nice evening with friends.
