Play All Day

I brought up the Little People toys yesterday morning and Katharine saw them after she woke up and she played so cute all day yesterday.

She played and played, and Peter got in on the game after he got home from school.

I love it when they play so well. Since she was in the zone playing, I was able to get in the zone blogging and I worked Maya little bit, yay. I got the Spring Break trip and Hibbert retreat done yesterday and today. One con from all that blogging - my left hip. My hip has been hurting pretty bad.  It started last fall - I started to notice it when we'd be coming down the quarry trail. It hurts on and off all the time - this pain in my left hip socket. It's fine if I'm walking or standing, but it will hurt if I sit down. If I'm sitting at my computer, like I have been the past two days, it will start to hurt. So I try to put my computer on a chair and I kneel on the floor but really? I can't sit without it hurting my body?! I tried taking some asprin today to see if that helps. Maybe I've got inflammation?? I don't know, I'm trying different things or I need to try something. I might reach out to a hormone doctor that Chalane mentioned on Tuesday at lunch that she goes to.

A fun thing from tonight: Corey was invited by our friend Laird to a Sons of Utah Pioneer dinner tonight, his treat. When we were there, the guy checking people in looked familiar. At first I thought he was my art teacher Mr Purcell from Snow College. But then Corey recognized him too and said "That's Mr. Larson!" Mr Larson was our Chemistry teacher at Skyline! We both had him but for different periods, but I would walk by there and pick Corey up after his class and I also called Corey a lot for help with the chemistry assignments. Mr. Larson's class was a part of our courtship story, and here we are 13 kids later. We told him that and he had a laugh and we got a photo with him. Sweet guy.

Oh, guess who else wanted 13 kids?? (I read a little bit more in Moonwalk today - see the last sentence below -

Yep, Michael Jackson! I'm living his fantasy - a large family with thirteen children.
