Called To Serve!

BIG NEWS OF THE DAY!!! Joseph got his mission call!! So, after two days of being disappointed at the mailbox, we figured it must be a week behind and it would come next week. Blah... this is almost as bad as waiting for a baby to come! But then we figured it's just as well, cause then all his out of state cousins could come (they'll be in town next weekend for General Conference). So, it was a gray rainy day which fit our "too bad for us" mood. We checked the mailbox a few times, but I didn't know when it came on Saturdays. What's the point anyway. So, I went out yet again around 4 o'clock, not expecting anything and... oh! Two big looking envelopes!
I got them out, yes! That one on bottom was it, the "white envelope!" Then I put them back in to take a picture, ha. Then I got them out again and ran inside. I should have gotten a video of this too, not that I had a plan as to what I was about to do, but it did turn out fun. Joseph was at the computer doing homework. I ran inside with a huge smile on my face. The little girls were in the front room and when they saw me they could tell something was up. I put my fingers to my lips and mouthed a big "SHHHH!!!" to them as I held up the envelope with big excited eyes. Abi's eyes got big and she smiled. They followed behind me as I walked over to the study where Joseph was diligently studying. He was sitting at the computer, but his face was down in his book. I snuck up behind him and threw it down over his shoulder and on the keyboard in front of him. He was startled and looked up surprised, not turning to me, but looking at what I had just smacked down in front of him. He looked at the envelope, took a second to process, then... a gasp - "IT CAME?!?!?!" He stood up and turned to look at me - then back at the envelope
Yes!! It came!!! He just started pacing the floor with a big big smile on his face and staring at it. He wasn't expecting it today, he was thinking it would be next week, so wow! Well, what do we do now!??!
He started texting his friends. One of his bffs and a bunch of friends were on their way back from a track meet in St. George, so he wanted to wait until they were back and could come over and watch him open his call. They were stopping for a break in Fillmore, so about another 3 hours before they were back. Joseph decided that 8:00 should do it. (Maybe 8:30??) How bout we'll plan 8:30, but tell your friends that are usually late that it's at 8? Ha. He ended up waiting a bit longer for a few last friends to show up that were on their way, so, actual call time opening was around 8:50. He put up a map on the front room wall so people could make their guesses as to where he was going.
He also put out a notebook and pen so people could write their email addresses down if they want to get his letters (he also informed me it will be my job to forward the emails to everyone. Hmm, I might just post the letter once a week here, and will send his friends the link. Anyway, don't need to decide that now...) Here's what the party looked like when it was small and there was only one of Joseph's friends for his little sisters to attack - see his friend Talmage there? A girl on each leg and Lily up on his shoulders? That is one reason that we know that Joseph has good friends.
Talmage has little sisters of his own, and he knew it would be rough here tonight but admitted to Joseph, when it was over, that it had been worse than he expected. That picture above is when it was not crazy yet. Here's a link to another video of us all waiting for the rest of Joseph's friends to arrive. It was getting loud and crazy! It was fun to have so many friends and family here to celebrate this moment with us. SO, after a kinda anxious wait by people who were turning in via marco polo, the big moment finally came - here he is opening his call!! (Opening starts at 1:44)

I won't post the place until tomorrow, so you gotta watch the video to find out. Or, spoiler alert, he is pointing at his mission in this picture!
CONGRATULATIONS JOSEPH!!! We are so excited for you!

No Mail AGAIN

Aagh! Can you believe it - no mission call in the mail again! What is going on?!?!? We've decided that our mailman looked a little sketchy.... we think there's a good chance that he hid it on purpose, can you believe he'd do something like that? So, this was today: Corey ran over to Lily's peformance again. He said next time we'll just toughen it out and finish one show so that we don't have to go twice. Her smile made it worth it though. If I'd have been thinking, I wouldn't have bothered to take the toddlers yesterday I would have had Mel babysit them today. Not that she's feeling great with her swollen jaw. She is pretty much cracking me up, but I know she feels uncomfortable, mostly with how she looks. She's made a few Marco Polos to us.
I know how you feel Mel! We've all been there. I got my wisdom teeth out after Ethan was born, so I had a post partum body and a swollen face, I felt so un-pretty. I remember this lovely lady at my church come up to ask me something, and when I turned around to look at her, she like gasped to see what I looked like. I then and there said I'd rather go through child labor rather than get my wisdom teeth pulled. It's less painful. The whole 9 months of pregnancy might be worse than wisdom teeth, but it's pretty close. So. I picked up Skyline carpool today. Corey really wanted Mel to go talk to her teachers about why she missed school again and to try to make sure she could turn in late work on Monday if necessary. She didn't want to go, I didn't blame her. But we went. Then we waited for an hour for Ethan to finish a test - I thought it would only be 30 min. I waited in the hall outside his classroom. After 20 minutes I decided I might as well do walking lunges. He saw me and came out, told me he was going to be a while. So I took the other carpool kids home, then turned right around to go get Ethan He said he wouldn't be done til 4:30, I said I'd be there at 4 and I'd just finish up my lunges as I waited. But before I headed back to school to get him, I checked the mail. It was almost 3:45, he should be close... I started to drive but then decided to do a quick drive around the neighborhood to see if Mr. Mailman was around anywhere. I spotted him in a culdesac in our old neighborhood!
Yes! Ok... I started calculating his possible routes and how long it would take him to get to our mailbox. Should I wait and then go get Ethan, or get Ethan and come back to see if Joseph's mission call came? I waited in the driveway when he rounded the corner...
It's like I'm being a detective or a spy! I hid in the car, carefully positioned my phone so that I could record the mailbox without being seen.
But it was all in vain. Just two lousy mailers. I've never been more disappointed to get a Hello Fresh flyer and an Emergency Essentials advertisement. They went straight into the recycling bin, just to show them my spite. Joseph was at the Soundhouse for band, I texted him to let him know the mail was a no show again. Bummer. I went to pick up Ethan. It is Friday night date night. I confirmed with him that he wanted to go on his birthday date with us. "Can we go to the Roof?" Not this time, buddy, that's just a one time treat. He was so tired, he wanted to go to bed, but he did want food, but he didn't want to wait until Corey got back from work "I don't want to fall asleep and have to get up again after..." So we made a deal - I'd take him out to Costa Vida, and we'd call it good. But first I wanted to go by the post office to verify my identity for Informed Delivery so I can know what's coming the morning of and not have to wait until 4:00 everyday to be disappointed for the next week.
Now we're verified, yay. I was hoping it would be immediately effective, but it takes 3-5 business days, blah, well this won't do us any good informing us about the mail tomorrow, but it might come in handy if his call comes next Thursday. It's too late to call and reschedule his wisdom tooth appointment for next Thursday, we'll have to do that on Monday. Ah! So many variables! So I took Ethan to Costa Vida.
I even let him get a Tres Leches cake. Happy Birthday date, Eth.
So, yay, kids are home and we survived another week of school. I went to pick up Corey at work. We've only had two cars since Feb 10th, when Corey loaned his car to a friend from Brazil that he owes money too. I haven't endure this inconvenience well or very cheerfully. But I'm really glad we have his car back. Corey finally received some of his outstanding paychecks on Wednesday so he was able to pay his friend and we got it back tonight after our date, hallelujah. It was a good date, we talked about our ideal schedules and how to help him get 40 hours of consulting in a week, we'll see if we're able to implement it.

Busy Birthday

It was a busy day. I usually start my day at 5:30, but today I got up at 5 cause I couldn't sleep - I was dreaming and kept waking up thinking about getting Melodie to her wisdom tooth appointment which was scheduled for 6 am. (She and Joseph are doing their extractions at the JBR Research Clinic) One of the many night time interruptions was as simple as Corey waking up and reaching over to his night stand to get a drink of water, and I shot up in a panic to warn him and chide him for not remembering that he wasn't allowed to drink anything after midnight!! Oh wait, that's not a rule for you, that's for Melodie... and I lay back down and tried to still my heart and turn off my brain. Yeah, a lot of luck with that. So a lot of light sleeping and self waking interruptions. I gave around 5:00 and decided I might as well start the oatmeal. While that pot of water was getting ready to boil, I cleaned up the kitchen, which I had left undone last night cause I wanted to get to bed cause I had to get up early. Getting to bed early didn't work, as usual, so I was tired, but luckily the stress of trying to figure out how the morning would work was enough to keep my adrenaline high. Corey stayed up late working and has had a rough week, so eventhough it would help me get the kids out the door, I didn't want to wake him up to take Mel. So I kept thinking of logistics while I cleaned - while I was gone. I was impressed with how quickly I was washing dishes - finally getting out some of that energy that had been stirring in me all night! I woke Mel up at 5:20 and she asked for 10 more minutes. Downstairs to finish up in the kitchen, upstairs again at 5:30 to wake her and her brothers. She took a quick shower and we left a little late at 5:48. Before I left I tried to wake up the boys for jazz band one last time as I told they were not on their own to get out the door. I also told Ethan "Happy birthday! Time to get up for jazz band, I need to leave with Mel..." Yes, Ethan is the big 1-6 today.

She was late to her appointment. I was worried on the drive there, but we got there and it wasn't a problem that we were late. I signed some authorization paper, I checked my phone, calling Wes to make sure he was up, calling the boys, I noticed on life 360 that they were leaving but Hyrum wasn't. I called to verify if Life 360 was correct or if Hyrum was with them, as he should be. "Uhh, nope..." "Why didn't you wake up Hyrum? How did you think he is going to get to school? He's supposed to go with you, why would you leave him?!?" They weren't thinking. I called home, Wes woke up Hyrum, Hyrum texted a neighbor as luckily they had room to give him a ride cause one of their passengers was staying home. Ok, first crisis averted, and it's only 6:30. Ugh. Corey was still sleeping, I called again for Wes to wake up Abi before he left so she could start to get the younger kids up and ready. The JBR person said that Mel would probably have her surgery at 8:30. Doh, that means I'm not going to be home in time. "Do I need to stay until she goes in?" No, you've signed the papers, you're free to go. Ok, sorry Mel, I don't mean to abandon you, but I gotta go. I headed home at 7:30, yay, I can get the rest of the kids off to school.

I texted Ethan what kind of cake and ice cream he wanted. He texted me as I was by the store, so I ran in and got angel food cake, strawberries, and whipped cream. I was home to send of the girls, thank you Abi for being such a good responsible daughter, and yay, I survived the morning! Hopefully this run through will make me not lose sleep with Joseph's teeth extraction appointment next week, which we are hoping that we don't have to cancel, because his mission papers didn't arrive today! Boo!! Our bishop told us that is has been assigned so we are pretty positive it should be here this week, cause with his friends, their calls are usually dated on a Tuesday, and then they arrived the following Thursday, two days after they were dated. Hmm, hopefully they're just a day late. The mail came early today at 3:15. I had already checked, but Joseph checked again too. Well, if you're gonna check, let me get a picture, so I can blog about it not coming...
"But NOT getting the call is nothing to blog about!" Well, I like to document our disappointments too. I took that picture right after we got home from Lily's School house Rock performance, which was at 2. I didn't take any pictures but a fellow mom sent me this one, with the comment "Lily is so animated! Such a cute girl!" She's there front and center in the middle of the first row.
I may update with more pictures later when I get them off Corey's phone, I didn't get any cause Daniel was being run around crazy the whole time, running around the cafeteria and out into the hall. It was nuts. Owen was being crazy too. We finally cornered them for a few minutes by the kindergarten room. Sophi proudly standing by all the pictures she's drawn for her teacher, which her teacher displays on the classroom door, cute. 11 of those 19 drawings are Sophi's.
We played legos there for a bit, then we decided we'd done our duty and we should head home for our own sanity and survival. Later, while I was driving to get Mel, Abi called me to let me know that Lily had been crying cause we left and we were on our phones the whole time (not true) and weren't watching (we tried!) and that all the other kids got to ride home with their parents. Corey was still at home, so I told Abi to tell Lily to go downstairs and talk to him about her complaints. I think we'll smooth it over by one of us going back for the performance tomorrow morning too, sans toddlers. But I did tell Abi to tell Lily to cut us some slack, her little brothers were being horrible. So, recap, we got home from the School House Rock show, high school kids got home, there was no mission envelope in the mail, Joseph took Ethan to his lesson with Ray after we got a quick photo:
"ETHAN IS 16!" My mom brought by a cake and present while we were away at Lily's show. Ethan loved the bow ties.
They had also stopped by Corey's parent's house after school for a quick birthday gift from them. Then I had to go pick up Melodie, who was done at 4:10. She doesn't look swollen yet, her pain isn't bad yet either, so we'll hope that keeps up.
She missed a lot of school this week - Monday she and Joseph missed half day for a Lyceum concert, she went Tues, she missed all day yesterday for a GMS thing, today she missed cause of this wisdom tooth thing, and they said she should not go to school tomorrow. But tomorrow is also the last day to turn in work before the term ends next Wednesday. Good luck with school, Mel! This probably isn't the strongest way to finish the term, sorry!

Ethan got home from his lesson and we finally had cake and ice cream around 8:30.
Here we are all gathered around for cake - just a typical night at the Wrides. Lily, dressed as a pirate there on the left, Owen running around in his diaper. 5 kids at the bar - we usually don't get all 11 kids in pictures! Wow, go me. And you can see Corey's blue sleeved shirt on the right side there too. Everyone's at home and ready to dig in.
We were concerned this week that Joseph getting his mission call today would overshadow Ethan's birthday. So we told Joseph last night that we wanted it to be Ethan's decision if J opened his call today or not, if it came. Joseph did some prep work to soften Ethan up and took him to Wendy's last night. Didn't work for a birthday bribe, but still a nice brotherly bonding thing to do. It was a busy birthday, but we hope it was good for you Eth. I'm ready to call it a day and head to bed now!! Goodnight.

Watching

Daniel has been waking up during the night kind of regularly. He doesn't want a bottle, he wants me to hold him. So I've been bringing him in the bed. And I just love sleeping next to him, he's my little warm teddy bear. I am able to sneak away from him without a problem when I get up at 5:30 to wake up kids and go exercise. When I was done with the morning rush and carpool, he was still there in a deep sleep and I just watched him.
Corey goes to bed laying on a miracle ball sometimes, and that was Daniel's teddy bear, keeping his ear warm.
He is so sweet. I love him. I went to study group today, I haven't been for a while. Natalie was still asleep when I left so she stayed home with Corey. Daniel and Owen did pretty good. We had to leave early cause Owen was done. I forgot his blanket and he was in need of it. I think if I remember it next time we might make it the whole 2 hours. It was really nice to be there with my wonderful friends and sisters. When I came home, Owen and Daniel were primed and ready to go to bed. But they didn't want to go to bed. So I let them drink some ricemilk while they watched Zootopia for a few. I went and made Corey lunch, and when I came back, it was clear that naptime had begun. Owen looked as in heaven as I was when I was snuggling with Daniel early this morning.
So there's yet another picture of my little boys sleeping in the tv chair.
I put Daniel in the crib and let Owen sleep in the chair. Cute little guys. What else? Today was garbage day. Wes helped me rake up pine needles and load up the trash can last night - our yard is definitely in need of some spring cleaning. After the garbage truck came by today and they were emptied, I took the garbages into the back yard and loaded them half up again. (We have a lot of pine needles) Owen and Daniel have enjoyed being in the backyard, it's nice that it's getting warm and we're ready to see the outside world again! I also was happy to be outside cause I was watching the mailbox. I was watching to see what time he comes by, because we're hoping to see a white envelope in the mailbox tomorrow. So I thought I'd try and give myself a heads up as to when that should be delivered. Joseph sent us a text today to let us know that our bishop texted him and said that his mission application on the church system was changed from "ready to be assigned" to "assigned"! Eeek!!! So, from his research of other friends who have had their mission letter dated on a Tuesday, they receive it on the Thursday following. So, I've been watching the mail, and I was out there right when he came by. First the neighbor's mailbox at 3:46 -
(I was peeking between the gate in the backyard...)
And then our mailbox - time: 3:47! I think I'll set an alarm for 3:40 tomorrow! We're excited! :)

Snapshots of Life

Here are a few snapshots of my life. I went to bed last night without putting dinner away, so the big pot of soup was on the stovetop still this morning. I left it out trusting the kids would come back asking for more food, and also hoping they would eat more of it and there wouldn't be quite so much to store. No luck. Looks like I'll be eating this for a while. So, this morning, after being greeted by a lovely clean sink and kitchen...
...I proceeded to put the soup away. And yes it had been sitting out all night. I don't think we'll die from that, but who knows. So as I attempted to put it in containers, the actual reality of trying to lift a heavy pot of soup by myself while also attempting to hold the container still so it doesn't slip away off the counter combined with the natural world of physics and this happened:
Isn't that lovely? It dripped and slopped it's way down the side of the cupboards and into the drawer and over the appliances and utensils in the drawers and made a big yucky sloppy mess for me to clean up. Yuck. A few more snapshots from this month that have not yet made the blog: on March 4th we totally got dumped on. It was a Sunday morning, kids were being kids and still in bed, I'm faster at this anyway, especially cause it was so deep, it would have taken them three hours to do it. But not Corey and me - we make a good team!
He'd clear it off, I'd push the snow that spilled over back into his path. We rocked it. Whenever Corey and I are doing something together, it most likely means that the children are either 1 - sleeping...
... or 2: being little couch potatoes - Daniel's passive body cracked me up and made me feel bad at the same time - a sign that it's time to turn off the tv.
Here's a picture of what my Costco runs look like nowadays: healthy food galore.
...minus pkg of peanut MnMs on the cart, Abi is buying those with her own money. I'm still loving the purple carrot recipes and food boxes we get now and then. On the menu earlier last week: Ponzu Tofu. I threw mine on top of some pretty swiss chard -
And this, my friends, is what is called "positioning" or "staging", cause if we zoom out to see the true reality of this kitchen, ...yeah.
And that's the reality here. Another yummy gbomb salad I made yesterday - bell pepper, onion, canelli beans, mushrooms, and guacamole.
Sometimes it feels so easy to make a yummy salad. But if I eat bread first, I'm just not hungry for it, so I have to have my salad first thing at dinner. So there's a few snapshots of life right now.

Shen Yun

We had date night tonight. We went to see Shen Yun. I really enjoyed it. My only regret was that we weren't on a lower level. I think I'd be up to go again, and next time I want to get seats down closer to the ground so that the screen looks like it's behind the dancers more. It was pretty cool though to see how they used the screen to be an extension of the dances - they'd have images of angels/dancer fly down from the screen and suddenly they're on the stage, I thought that was cool. I loved the hankerchief dance - they'd throw the hankerchiefs high up in the air like frisbees, then the dancers would do head over heels flip and look up and catch their hankerchief, that came back to them like a boomerang. Piece of cake, right? They made it look so effortless. I think I was most mesmerized by long sleeves dance, how they would catch the sleeves and then throw them out, then drape them over this way or that. Some of the sleeves looked like angel wings, and when they said it's a tradition that long sleeves are worn in heavenly realms, I was thinking maybe angels don't have wings, they just have these lovely long flowing sleeves on their dresses. I loved all the costumes. My dream is that in heaven we get to dress up in lovely outfits like that all the time, and I'll also be able to dance like they did. It was an amazing performance. Thanks for coming with me sweetheart!
Corey's review - he said it wasn't as good as he thought it would be (his expectations might have been a little high with all the flyers and ads we've seen saying how incredible it is), but he still liked it and likes what they're about - preserving Chinese culture and history that is being silences by the communist government in China.
The programs had a lot of information that was neat to read. I think I'd like to go again next time they visit Utah, and I'll maybe take Mel or Abi and we'll pay for a better seat and see how that show goes. It was a nice date. Corey's parents watched the younger kids for us. When we were driving over there, Abi was passing out MnM's to her little siblings in the car. Daniel, in the carseat in front of her, held up his hand as high as he could and said "Pees!" (aka please).
Then he'd chew up the peanut MnM and spit it all out, I'd pass Wes a baby wipe to clean him up, then D would ask for another one again, repeat. We kept giving him the MnM cause it kept him quiet. We had to choose between cleaning up the mess or listening to him fuss. We chose the mess. When we got to Corey's parent's house, his sister brought over her cute little dog. They got a dog for Christmas. I hadn't met her yet though, but she was super cute and sweet. Luna. Corey wanted to show the dog to Owen.
"See, Owen! It's a nice doggy! It will give you kisses!"
Owen didn't like the dog and had such a truly sad little frown, poor thing.
Corey is thinking we need to get a dog for Owen, like we did when we talked about getting (and then buying) a dog for Hyrum years ago. Corey gave Owen lots of kisses to let him know he was safe.
Owen snuggled up to Corey.
...then he'd look back at the dog again.
Owen is thinking "Dad, I'm just going to pretend that this whole thing didn't even happen and that that little creature isn't there behind me..."
Darn it, it is there still. Can we make it go away?
Abi helped her cousin take the dog home and then Corey and I left for the show. We were a bit late getting our parking spot, but it was worth it to have the test run with the dog with Owen. Abi really wants a dog and her dad is considering it. I don't know what I think. No, I take that back. I do know, and I think I don't want a dog, but I've gone against my better judgement before, so we'll see what happens.

Wi-Fi Protection

Today Corey took Melodie in for a wisdom tooth screening. It took a lot longer than he or I thought it would, so we're skipping date night tonight so he can get more work done. Plus tomorrow we have plans to go on a date - going to Shen Yun! So that's okay that we missed today. Corey's still got a lot of his plate and I just keep praying that his load will be lightened and/or that he will be strengthened to bear it. It's hard cause Corey comes home after a full day and has to keep working. Last night Owen wanted to be around his dad, so Corey came out of his office and worked on his computer in the front room. He played with Owen for a bit, but then really did need to get back on the clock. So he gave Owen his phone so Owen could play a game.
Owen sweetly tucked himself under the roll top desk, a nice private little place for this little person. Daniel, who had previously been very entertained with a balloon, joined Owen in his little kid cave and watched the screen. When I saw them there, I ran upstairs to grab one of the Kids Armour Shield stickers/microchips that had recently come in the mail so I could put one on Corey's phone. The view from the stairs of Corey working and two little boys under the desk.
The little sticker has a microchip in it that has been proven to protect against wifi radiation. protection. I grabbed the phone away from Owen for a sec, which he didn't like, and quickly took off the case and put it on the back of Corey's phone underneath his case. I gave it back, and Owen went back to his game. Daniel came out and played with his balloon some more.
A balloon is better than a phone app game anyway Owen. I still have the duplo game on my phone but that's it. Ok, I also have the PBS kids video app, but I pretty much avoid letting them zone out on my phone unless it's an emergency. If you're like me, you've most likely started to hear things like "cell phones can cause cancer" or warnings about Wifi radiation but what can we do? I seriously doubt people are not giving up our phones, so we'll just have to risk it and deal with the possible consequences. But recently did I make a change - since December, I've been trying to keep it further away from me when it charges at night time. In December, I saw this article about what I thought was a recent 9th graders science project with cress seeds and wifi exposure. It made the rounds on social media with 1.2 million shares. But I did just learn that, according to Snopes, it was a 2013 science fair project and it's truthfulness is unproven. Still, it's been on my mind.

So, then I heard about Kids Armour. I received these Kids Armour Stickers in the mail this week. When Corey saw them he was very skeptical and said that someone is gonna have to do some explaining at the pearly gates when the truth comes out that they'v been selling people a silly shield sticker for $20 bucks a pop. So, he's been teasing that these are just stickers, but I've been looking in to it and I think it's legit. You can peek around their website and watch their videos and read the articles referenced there to come up with your own opinion. I especially liked this short interview below. My new goal is that if I'm not using my phone, I'll just make sure the volume is up so I can hear it, and then keep it 1.4 meters away (4.6 feet). Easier for me here at home than the kids at school who have to go from class to class. Their best options is probably to get one of these microchips on their phones.

So, I've been doing just a little bit of research on Wifi radiation here on their website - they say these stickers are clinically proven to keep head tissue cooler and to keep blood more normal, and that sounds like a good thing to me. Better safe than sorry. Last night right after Owen gave Corey his phone back, Corey noticed the bulge on his phone and took his off and doesn't remember where he put it, tsk tsk. I'm keeping an eye out and hope it will stick on another phone when/if I find it. So Corey's out, but I've got one on my phone, and I told Wesley about what the stickers do and he agreed to have one on his phone. I haven't told the other kids yet, I'm guessing they might be skeptical like their dad so I'm gonna wait a bit. Who knows, maybe it's actually some spy bug that is keeping track of our every move and sending information about us to international enemies! If that's the case, look into it when Wes or I go missing, ha. In the mean time, thanks for trusting me Wes, maybe we'll be glad we got these, but we might not know for another 20 years. For more information about wifi radiation in the news, take time to watch the other videos on their website.

--- Update 3/20 ---
Wes told me today that he lost his sticker shield at school. Darn it. He doesn't have a case protector on his phone, so it fell off and is lost. So that's a bummer. If you buy one of these, be sure you have a way to keep in on your phone so it doesn't get knocked off.
