Dos Ojos Campsite

We are camping for spring break. We are out in the middle of nowhere. Corey driving his car up this hill, was too scary for me to attempt. I don't want to break an axil or anything.

This is a fun place! Never been here before and not the typical green mountains camping I'm used to, but this will be fun. We packed up this morning and almost left at our goal of 2pm. I had Natalie put away her fort, which did indeed all collapse during the night.
No one got hurt from a falling music stand so that's good. I did most of the packing of items and food while Corey worked and then ran an errand to get leather for some slings. Then around 1, when it was about time to leave (I gave us a noon to two pm window) he took kids over to his dad's house to get holes put in the leather. He told the kids that they are squirrel swings. The kids were so excited to see squirrels swing on the swings, haha. They didn't even question it.

Left at 2:15, stopped by Walgreens so Corey could get some asthma medicine. I was eating some concord grapes and wearing a straw hat, and saw an opportunity to look like a hillbilly with a missing tooth, so I put the grapeskin on my teeth and then got Lily's attention in the van next to me "Have you seen mah husban'?" I had them all laughing. Then we finally left! Hoping to make it to Green River and set up camp before sunset. We were almost at the freeway when Abi remembered that we hadn't grabbed the camping chairs. So she and all the kids went back, and Corey and I kept heading out, cause we were picking up Mel and also dropping off our bikes at Ari. Yay that we finally saw Mel and Christian's little home sweet home! Abi got ahead of us as we did those two errands. And now we're here. Corey setting up our tent near "Dos Ojos de los muertos". I can find it on google maps! Right here - do you see our two cave eyes?
We don't have reception or an electric outlet, but we have two charging bricks and I can put this journal entry in a notepad on my phone and post it later.
