Wes said he had an activity tonight for FHE. It was the sock snatching game. It got pretty intense pretty quickly because it wasn't a one on one tournament but a whole free for all!
Well, it felt like a free for all, but this pic above was actually girls vs boys. Sophi and Natalie protested after that it was not fair for the two of them to be against 4 boys. So we tried again and I joined the girls but we still lost. Peter got me. It was funny seeing Abi and Wes in a one on one. Fun times. Yes, kids got kicked in the faces and cried. Yes, Daniel got a bloody nose. Yes, kids were mad when they lost. Yes, in the intensity of the situation, we had children cry out "I'm gonna pee!" but thankfully there were no accidents to clean up. The kids that participated got to have ice cream sandwiches.Funny pic today of Katharine begging Abi to let her color on her phone.
Eliza called me this morning. The three of them are coming out this weekend! Eliza's cousin is getting married in Payson on Saturday. They arrive Thursday at 9am and will be busy with wedding prep on Friday and the wedding on Saturday, but we are hoping to all get together on Thursday. Little Mary's birthday is on Sunday, so we'll have an early b-day party for her! Speaking of sweet little Mary, Eliza also shared this pic with me of Mary standing up! She was standing for a lot time at a mom and baby play group this past week.
She'll be walking in no time. So cute!
I went to exercise after Abi and Lily were home. They took the car today cause the kid they get a ride from on Monday's is on a trip. So, I was able to get stuff done around here. I did two blog posts for December!! Yay, I'll be carless again tomorrow so I'll try to zone in and finish a few more and see if I can get December done. I'm also trying chore charts again and put them on each of the kids doors.
Everyone acts like they have no responsiblities, or they pretend like they know they should be doing something, they just don't know what. So we're gonna put that ignorance to rest. They know. I put these on their doors last Wednesday and Daniel and Owen were the only ones who did stuff. Hoping to see an improvement this week. Today Natalie was the only one who practiced. She played her violin for 30 minutes for the first time in a long while. Good job Natalie.
