Hello from South Jordan. We didn't go very far for the retreat this year. Jersh got a house in South Jordan (that is beautiful!) We thought that would make it easier for my mom to join, and we were right. This morning I packed up and then I took Corey's car and went to join the fun. I got there around 10am. I brought flour and stuff to show them how to make sourdough and then we headed out for lunch at Spitz at the Old Mill area. Selfie after they delivered our food -
Fun to be with my parents and my sisters! When a waitress came to check on us, we asked her to take a pictures.
After that we followed them home to help them with their freezer cause they had mentioned that it won't stop making ice. We also weeded for a little bit...
I knew nothing about the movie other than Matt and Beka liked it. It was really good! I think we'll watch it with the kids, it was fun to go in with no expectations and have be surprised by everything. Good movie.
Then we headed back to the airbnb house. I formed the loaves and we had sourdough for dinner and will have the other loaf for breakfast. We made service bracelets like we did last year. I did a few of those but have mostly sat at the table here for visiting while I do a little bit of lesson prep (cut the small photos of Christ). I have my computer here to blog a bit while we chat. We are playing SkyJo and will probably be staying up late!
It's late now. 1 am and we're heading to bed. Jersh needs our prayers.
