We went to Monticello in Charlottesville, Virginia, with Grandma and Grandpa Wride in January 2007. I decided it was okay for Joe and Mel to skip out of school that day. :)
It looks like you have had some awesome adventures this year! What great experiences for your kids. It would be so nice to live closer to all those amazing historical sites. Good for you for taking advantage of it! And that marker posting is priceless!!
