Yesterday Wesley decided he did not want this king sized love sac in his room anymore. A neighbor gave it to us a few months ago. Since we got it for free, I figured it was fair to give it away for free. I also wanted to give it away for free cause that would guarantee it would be out of here asap, like today, which it was. This was a lovely tomato red king sized love sac. I posted it on the free classifieds and within 5 minutes someone was on their way. I told the kids to come get their last jumps in. Wes saying goodbye.
He said he likes it, but it also gives off a big "lazy" vibe, and he's trying to be a more productive human teenager, so it's gotta go. I agree it does have a lounging affect on all of us. It's been a comphy companion in the morning hours when I got to wake up Wes at 5:40 and he wants 5 more minutes, so I lay down on it and he sleeps a few more minutes in his bed. But now we're gonna start being more productive. Girls saying bye -
Natalie reading while we waited for the new owner to come.
Within 30 minutes there was a knock at the door, and we helped him carry it to his suv. He was very grateful, and that's a win win for everyone. We enjoyed having it around, the boys especially had fun jumping on it from time to time. I moved it out of Wesley's room on Monday (very hard getting it through the door, but D and P helped me!) and it spent the day at the bottom of the stairs, where it kept them entertained - Peter jumping here, them both taking turns below -
Owen liked to jump off of his bunk bend onto it when it was up in their room - short video from Sept 21st, but then it'd get all packed down and hard and they'd need someone big to try and rotate it and fluff it up for them to make it cushiony again. I agree that when it was all flattened it gave off a big lazy vibe. It was easier to fluff it up on the main floor where it wasn't wedged in a corner on the carpet, like it was in their room. It was in the line of traffic though, so when the kids got home, we moved it into the side room as I thought about what to do with it. And now, just like that, it's gone with former possessions of yesteryear. It's been a fun toy, but are happy to pass it on now. Bye Lovesac!
A pic from this morning... a new thing that Peter likes is "apple pizza". I slice up an apple and then cut it into little triangles, then arrange them into a circle, a tada! Pizza! Peter shared a slice of apple pizza with his dinosaur toy.
A pic from tonight at scriptures - it looks like these two fell asleep half way though a wrestling match. Cuties.
Goodnight.
