I took Daniel and Peter to Thanksgiving Point today. We went to the museum of Curiosity. They played in the water works area this time and got soaked at a medium level.
Peter loved playing with this little plastic cloud that sprinkled out water like rain. He stayed pretty dry considering he didn't wear the smock.
Peter was content, and I enjoyed watching him, but Daniel got bored and wanted to leave that area. I ended up grabbing Peter and we went down to the bottom level where we did the mysterious cave of wonders thing, then they played on the projected video game...
and then over to the slide and with the balls for a bit. We left to get home in time for when the kids were arriving back from school. I like these little outings with my two little friends. At home we had bbq chicken sandwhiches for dinner. The kids were being silly at dinner - playing with the white elephant toys and gifts that they got at the Curtis gathering on Saturday.
Owen, Peter and Wes playing with Mr. Potato Head accessories -
And Daniel playing with his purple glitter slime.I'm not sure who took these pictures, but here is a semi typical sit down dinner night -
With kids playing with toys, goofing off with each other, standing as they walk around the benches or sitting on the table, and half of them probably running around somewhere and not in attendance. C'est la vie.
