I'm glad that Melodie has made some friends here. Javiera (Javi) and Paz are 11, Melodie is 10, and they are always asking for Mel to come play or go swimming with them. They both look alot older than Mel, I thought they were like 14. (I hear there's some major hormones in the Chicken meat here in Chile. Maybe that could be good for Mel, she's such a small girl - still wearing size 8 clothes. Last year at school in Utah, she was the shortest one in her grade. We'll see if she ends up with a growth spurt here.)
Anyway, one time Melodie forgot her towel and they both came up to our apartment to get it for her while she waited in the pool. What service! Corey teases that our kids are going to think they are all special cause of how nice all the Chileans are to them, "basking in the glow of their blonde hair". Hopefully it won't go to their heads. Once Corey went down to see them playing in the common area, and Paz and Javi were just sitting around Melodie stroking her hair - we thought it was cute and kinda funny.

Mel's blonde hair is something to envy...I do since I need to get that kind of blonde from a bottle. :) Javi and Paz do look 14, I wouldn't have guessed 11! Beautiful girls, too! It's so nice when the kids have friends they like.
